Christmas Tree Reveal

One of the first Christmas decoration that goes up in my house is the tree.  It has to be artificial, since the real ones don't come out until after Thanksgiving, and I just can't wait that long.  Also, last time I did have a real one, I was pregnant with my daughter, and the smell made me very nauseous, and that has still stuck with me.

I have gone with a silver and blue color scheme, but I also have an assortment of ornament that my kids have collected through out the years.  I hope to one day, have the tree completely filled out by what they have chosen, to remind me of their childhood years of course.

Here are just some that we have recently gotten:

A very southern inspired ornament, if I may say so.

Got this for my son's first Christmas.
A gift given to us when we first move to Texas.

My son is a big UT fan!

Mini Schnauzer for our crazy hairball.

Husband is BIG fan.

Our Christmas tree upstairs is a little scrawny, but I really was not interested in spending a lot for it, when all likely hood of this tree making it till Christmas is slim, since it's in the game room, and lots of monkeying around goes up there.

Here are some more Holiday decorations around the house:

And here is our Tree downstairs all lit up.

Hope you have enjoyed a tour of our Christmas Tree.

  1. Oh how beautiful! Of coarse my favorite is going to be the big one. LOVE it! What are the twigs sticking out with the lights on the end? I really like that, and wouldn't mind having some for next year.
